Does my PDF get uploaded anywhere?+−
No. Every file you add is read, rendered, and rebuilt entirely on your own device using JavaScript libraries running in your browser tab - nothing is ever transmitted to Gizke.com or anywhere else.
Can I edit text that's already in my PDF?+−
Not directly - like most free browser-based PDF editors, this tool lets you add new text, images, and drawings on top of a page rather than rewrite text that's already baked into it. True in-place text editing requires reconstructing the document's internal structure, which very few tools (free or paid) do reliably.
Can I combine multiple PDFs into one file?+−
Yes. Add as many PDF files as you like and all of their pages land in one combined list that you can freely reorder before exporting - there's no separate "merge" step.
Are links, form fields, and other interactive parts of my PDF preserved?+−
Reordering, rotating, duplicating, and exporting keep a page's original content intact, including most links, form fields, and annotations, since pages are copied rather than flattened into images. Anything you add yourself with the text, image, or draw tools, however, is new flattened content, not an interactive form field. Fillable forms stay fillable, and you can fill one in right here: its fields appear above the pages and on each page, and you can lock the answers (flatten the form) when you export.
Is there a limit on file size or number of pages?+−
There's no server-side limit, since nothing ever leaves your device - but very large documents take longer to render and export because your own device's CPU is doing all the work.
