Why it exists

Most online tools work the same way: you upload your file to someone else's server, it gets processed there, and you download the result - hoping the original was actually deleted. For a task your own browser could have done in a second, that's a strange amount of trust to hand over.

gizke flips that around. The work moves to the file, not the file to the work.

How it works

Modern browsers are remarkably capable. With WebAssembly, the Canvas API and battle-tested open-source libraries, gizke reads PDFs, re-encodes images, scans barcodes and crunches text entirely inside the browser tab. Once a tool has loaded, it doesn't need to talk to any server to do its job. There is no upload button, because there is nowhere to upload to.

What we promise

• No uploads. Your files and text stay on your device. Always.
• No accounts. No sign-up, no login, no "verify your email to download".
• No bait-and-switch. No watermark that appears after the work is done, no paywall halfway through a task.
• Your language. Every tool speaks 17 languages - properly translated, not machine-mumbled.

What we can't promise

We can make your PDF smaller, but not your to-do list. We can shuffle your list with cryptographic fairness, but we can't make your friends accept the result. Some things are beyond the reach of any browser.

Who's behind it

gizke is designed and built by Bekir Efe Çakır, a developer with a strong opinion that a file you want to compress shouldn't need a passport to travel abroad first. Every tool is built with the same checklist: it works in the browser, it works on a phone, it works in all 17 languages - and it never phones home with your data.

How it stays free

gizke shows ads, and only personalizes them if you say so in the cookie banner. Ads pay for the servers that deliver the site; your files never go anywhere near them.
